Broken Tine found in bucks neck.

Holy crap how in the world did that deer even survive after that? Would like to see the deer that left his antler in his neck. Yeah I would try to get the deer mounted with the antler like that would be cool.

That is wild. Imagine the force they must have hit eachother with to inbed thatantler in the deer's neck, and then to break it off too!

My guess would be that this deer was locked up with another deer and during the stuggle the beam broke leaving the embedded antler.
This must have happened recently (before the deer was shot) because I would think infection would start setting in pretty quickly in an "open" wound like that.

That is just amazing. I would also think that it would have to be close to the time that the buck was harvested. Could you imagine the pain he was feeling at the time.

WOW, that is awesome. Do all you can to try and get it mounted with the antler in the neck. Now you can imagine how strong deer actually are to take a shot like that to the neck and keep on going.
