Wow is that cool. That buck was probably begging for death. I know I wouldn't be very comfortable with a large antler embedded in my neck

It must have broken when the horn was in the bucks in the picture. It would take alot of pressure to break a main beam and I can't see neck muscle doing it. Neat picture though.

Yeah I shot a buck with a badly broken leg and shot it with a 54cal muzzyin droped wright there got up and still ran 120 yards. There pretty amazeing

I agree, it looks like a fakie to me...
I think it might have broken off because it went under his backbone. Maybe that would be strong enough to break off a main beam.....or it might just paralyze him..........idk
