I`m 29 have been hunting for 10 yrs and have shot9 deer.8 bucks and 1 doe. All with Ithaca shotguns.

I started hunting back in 1977 but I did not hunt every year due to situations that were beyond my control. I just looked over my records and they showed that I hunted for 20 seasons with a total take of 23 does and 21 bucks. 1/3 taken with a bow and2/3 with firearms. I kept detailed recordsfor the hunt e.g., temp, wind direction, location of kill,weapon used, distance to deer, distance deer traveled after shot and anything of particular interest. I am happy that I kept records as it allows me to relive those memories. I only got back into hunting these past two seasons, 04, 05( I did not hunt from 99-03) and I am happy that I did as I enjoy it again. I hope to enjoy at least another 20 more seasons.
