Default my smokepole doe

happen monday morning,got out a little late around710,waiting for my buddy, the snow on the ground turn to ice , very hard walkiing in very loud just tried to still hunt to my area,around 9.00 i heardsothing troting to my left behind me i had some good cover and i watch this pne doe come in 20yards to me, gave her the baaaaah to stop her,and let her have it, she ended going my be 40yards after the smoke cleared, the gun i was using if intrested was cva kodiak mag. 295 powerbelts with 100gr 777

I don't know about you but I always seem prouder of a deer if I shot it with a smokepole.

dont u just love that thick white smoke bellowing out of ur gun..and walking up the downed animal knowing u did it the hard way..congrats ot he doe..i got my first doe and buck with a muzzleloader this year too

Love muzzleloading!!! I actually didn't even take the rifle out at all this year. But I tell you what if you don't have a breeze the smoke takes a while to clear and if you didn't drop'em you would have a hard time guessing where they crashed... Ussually a .50 caliber hole will drop them though!!!
