RE: Why are people for and against hunting?
This topic is of special interest to me because my company placed me and a couple of others in our company in a public speaking class. This past Wednesday I had to make a 5 minute speech on some informative subject in front of a lot of people. I chose to speak on CWD and the speech lasted 7 minutes. Next Wednesday I have to pick a topic to speak on for 15 minutes that could cause a debate. I am going to speak on the pros of hunting, in particular deer hunting. This feedback you hunters are sending in will help me gather information.
I have gotten lots of information on PETA to blast them with and was surprised at some of their beliefs and representatives. The only good part I have discovered about them is the publication of all those nice looking naked women that refuse to wear furs. They look better without them anyway, so who cares.
I have hunted all of my life that I was old enough to do so and I am 48 now. I believe that hunting and fishing kept me out of trouble as I was growing up. I love nature in the form of any living thing and still get excited when it is time to pull the trigger on a deer.
