Trouble with entry exit routes to my stands

Try making a gate of saplings or other natural material. Put it across the path when you walk in. I would leave it outside somewhere for a week or so before using it near the trail, then just leave it there.

I've always questioned the scent drag seystem because I didn't want the deer to walk directly to me and run the risk of getting busted in the process. Am I off base thinking that? At this point I guess it couldn't hurt since that's the way they're travelling anyway.

Hmmm I'm kinda fond of close shots I think someone already mentioned a gate or brush. Guessing the dear had thier own trails before you cut yours, Use the brush you cut as baricades to direct them back onto the trails they would normaly use. I know guys that use this method in the reverse they use brush from the shooting lanes they cut to direct deer to thier stands. Again a close shot
