RE: Who here hunts in MO?
I live in St. Charles (west of ST. Louis) and hunt in St. Charles, Franklin, and southern Warren counties. Things are still thick, but I have seen some nice deer, some active rubs. I think its gonna be a good year! I miss the next 2 weekends here, I will be ML hunting in NY!!

If you hunt in Missouri you might want to check the hunters log out.
You can see how the activity is going from hunters across the state.
Might help you out plus check out the members list and you might have some on in your county.

RE: Who here hunts in MO?
I do. Live in Farmington and drive about 5 hrours to hunt NE mo. Had four nice farms to hunt on but now I'm down to one small 100acre patch. It's really tough to find a place to hunt in Unit 7. Most of the places have been leasd up or purchased. 20 yrs ago and you could knock on almot any door and find a spot but no more. and the public places suck for me as they are walk in and I can't walk much less drag a deer out. There are millions of acres of public land not 50 miles from my house but few if any deer. If you see a tail in the whole season your lucky. Good hunting on private land in the South but acceess is almost non existant unless you are a blood relative. This is especially true in ST. Genevieve and Perry co. I drive through there every morning to work and see lots of deer along I 55. But foinding a pace to hunt is an act of God.
