I shot a doe last week, gutted it, dragged it out, two days later hunted same spot and there was fresh deer droppings all over that exact same spot.

I shot a doe once with my bow and she ran about 80 yards and died. About 5 minutes later a small buck came down the same trail and sniffed the blood on the ground. He spooked and ran back the way he came. That's the only time I have seen this happen.
