Default Tarsal glands as a scent drag.

I cut the tarsal glands from my buck last year and froze them in ziplock bags because I read that they make a good scent drag. Has anybody tried this same trick, and do you think it helps?

Now that is Brillant Just Brillant.
I never thought of that.

That is the best Idea I ever heard of.

Another Idea is to save the Pee in there blader to freeze.
And use the next year.

You keep coming up with them idea's you will beat all,

I've never done it but alot of guys around here use em for deer and coon dogs that break off to run deer. They tie gland around dogs neck and it will soon forget about running deer. I've got a buddy that deer hunts and used to be an avid coon hunter when the market was up on hides. He would keep 1/2 dozen glands zip locked in freezer.

Isave the tarsal glands each year. Freezer bag works geat. They are the best scent maker.I'm amazed at how fresh the smell is after sitting in the freezer for soo long. Iuse asaftey pinand attach a gland to each pant leg below the knee. Whenscouting through brush the strong scent kills any human odor from your clothes. The glands last for along time if put back in the freezer between hunting trips.
