stealthycat - Actually you were off by 12 4/8" while I was off by 6 4/8". Which means I was 50% closer than you<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>. Sorry, but I couldn't resist<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>.
Either way he is a fantastic buck.
Saskman - can you post the measurements. I always like to check myself to see where I misjudged. I'm always trying to improve my judging skills. I bet I overestimated the brows, I thought the forward curve might add to their length. I also counted two of the non-typical points that were probably too short to score.

Saskman - Thanks for the copy of the scoresheet. Turns out I over estimated his mainbeams by 2" on the right side and 1" on the left, and I missed the inside spread by 1 4/8". Most of the rest of the difference betweeen my estimate and the actual came from the mass scores. I guessed all the circumferences at 4 4/8". Another opportunity to live and learn!
Again that is a dandy buck, and thanks for sharing the scoresheet. I leave for Wyoming tomorrow evening, and I hope I can find his equal.
