Tim,
I use speedy buck on my rifle and bow. I did use miltec1 and WD-40, but the speedy buck is a deer attractent and oil, all in one. It's a solid product, good for Hunting seasonand it's only like 8$ on their website. www.scenttec.com

I don't think I would want a deer attractant on me or my gun.
From what I have heard it will make a deer attack you.
