That lump on his shoulder could be anything. It could be a calcium deposit on a mis-healed break from a wound, could be a birth defect, could be a cyst, it could be an infection, the possibilities are really huge. The only known thing is that whatever it is, it doesn't really seem to be affecting him too much. Great looking bucks though!

WELL I THINK THE BUCK THAT HAS THE HUMP ON HIS BACK IS ONE WILEY DEER ... HE KNOWS THE SEASON IT GETTING CLOSE SO HE WANTS TO LOOK LIKE A CAMEL ;>)

What a pleasant surprise you must have gotten. I happened to notice the buck in the 3rd or 4th picture with the mahogany colored antlers, is this common in your area? We get those alot down here in La. but haven't seen it much further north. After seeing these pictures I'll bet you don't get much sleep the next month and a half.
