Cardeer - that would probaby work but I'm not into those tactics - YET!!! Me and the boy will hike those woods looking for sheds (and salamanders, chipmunks, etc...) and I will continue to hunt the big woods. If we find a shed that goes over 80" on it's own, I'll think about hunting there. Knowing me when I was young, my son will probably sneak in there and hunt before I do.

I would guess that hunting any land with out permission is illegal, but in the city limits you should be checking on regs.

It's always a good idea to ask first if it's not your land. If you get a positive response you might want to get it in writing.

Would a bow be considered a firearm in this case or just a gun? A lot of people have mentioned city limits. The nearest city is about an hour away. My township allows hunting as long as it's in season and safety zone rules are obeyed.
