Redneck engineering at its finest!! I got the idea for this shoulder stabilizer off a diy blog. It works extremely well, is very light in weight, and the best part was it was less then 10 bucks..

How you guys doing? We were at the GR show right next to your booth! We use one similar but wraps down over your shoulder but this looks pretty good and I am sure is a bit lighter than ours.. Let us know how it works in the field.. The only thing about that one that would be slipping off the shoulder going foward.. Let me know!

Stan, Looks good and the price was definitly right. I think you will be better off making the part on your shoulder wider, so you eliminate the "rolling on the shouler". It's going to be much easier to hold steady.

I made another version of the shoulder stab. today.. This one goes around the should so there should be no issue w/ rolling off the shoulder.. I am also going to modify the other one to have the same over the shoulder as this..

If you putaY on the end of that Tand then turn the legs from the Y down youcan make it like a tripod. The legs will be your handles. Set it on the ground, hood of the car porch Etc...I think they are called spiderlegs.
