Twitchin Seven Shed Found!

Twitchin Seven Shed Found!
One of the bucks we've been chasing around this season is a crazy looking monster seven pointer that we've nick-named "The Twitchin Seven". You guys will see the whole story in the next video - but in the meantime, we have velvet footage of the buck, I passed a 46 yard windy shot on the buck - Andy Nevar passed a 20 yard shot on him (Andy only shoots bucks over 200"), and we had several other "encounters" with the buck this season.
Today Kyle and I were heading out of the woods and Kyle happened to spot an antler laying on the ground. Turns out - he had just found the left side of the Twitchin Seven from last year. Meaning - the thing had laid there for over a year - and nothing had touched it. Not a scratch on the shed. How cool is this eh?

Why the name 'twitchin' seven? I just have to ask.
Good find though.. can't believe it wasn't touched by rodents yet. Was it near a coyote bedding area? Under an Owls nest? They never found Jimmy Hoffa.

When we saw the buck for the first time in October - he fed around Kyle and I for about a half hour. When we reviewed the footage - he had a "spasm" in his front leg that would cause the thing to "twitch". It's the goofiest thing I've ever seen. He quickly became known as the "Twitchin Seven".....
The shed was just laying in the grass, up-against a bush. Looks like it fell off his head where we found it. No-matter, we have it now!

Any chance it's from this year? I've found acouple sheds in the past in early December, it's rare but it's possible. Both the ones i found were still sort of bloody looking at the base. Either way what a great story if you can kill him on film. You guys keep up the good work.

I agree - looks like this year's shed to my by the color.
It doesn't surprise me that a shed could go a year with no "chewin" - but the color looks fresh - it really does.
I've found a couple in December b4, always seems to be the "odd bucks" that drop them early.
