Austin and I finally got on the board this year after a slow start with a dow kill this morning. I took the doe at 20 yards and she went 10. THe footage is great, things are picking up hopefully it will stay cool and not warm up

Congrats Nic way to go!!!! Yeh things were rocking up here in Michigan also!! My buddy Fish shot his biggest buck ever about a 115 7pt that was chasing does already. I was videoing my daughter and we came close to whacking a doe last night and a nice 6pt this morning but that darn deer 6 sence save them both!! Congrats again!! Walt

Good work Nic! Did you shoot her with a Piston Point?

Todd,
We used the new piston point. IT worked flawlessly. Perfectpass through on a slightly quartering to, more than I thought when I shot. But here is the cool part. After going through the shoulder and exiting the deer it then stuck into a tree about an inch that was 5 yards past the deer
There is nothing wrong with the head. It also had a great blood trail even though we did not need to flow it

Walt,
I know how you feel I have had other cameramen fill in for Austin when he cant not hunt and some of them have struggled with not getting good footage. I just need austin to get more sleep and we would be better off
