WAYNE1... I have been watching the NE Washington observations out of the NWS Spokane office, and it seems there is a temperature inversion going on over there right now. RE; Laurier,in the bottom of the Kettle River valley-has been consistantly colder than Bunchgrass Meadow at 5000', and Sentinel Butte at 4900', And Sherman pass>
I will say this much- Spokanes long range forcast sure looks a LOT better than the west slopes of the Cascades

By the map, it loks to be slightly south east of you near possibly...is it Harvey Creek? It is definately in the far NE cornerNRCS Snotel sites

Ok I know where you are talking about..thats my neck of the woods..good riding in that area, if you head towards monumeantal mountaing (SP?)..its good snow mobiling..we are getting rain right now though, it sucks.. hope you have a good trip when you head over
