Got my elk tag filled!
Well, got a cow on last Friday morning. Sorry, no picture this year. My friend forgot his camera in the truck.
We walked about 5 miles to our stands. Got settled around 4:30 am. 7:30 and not a sound. I started cow calling. 8:00 and I let go an arrow to this cow. 45 minutes later, a bull ('bout 4 or 5 pointer) came in to my calling. I didn't have a bull tag, so I just play calling with him. He got spooked and took off. We got down around 9 something and start tracking. Found her around 11 and got the meat to camp around 9:30 pm. This was well worth it! Whewwww!
