58 days and counting
It's only 58 days till Grouse and Dove seasons open up. 
Hey Wayne -- I'm wondering how good/bad Grouse will be this year. Early in the Spring, I saw tons of grouse -- then (of course) they kinda disappeared during nesting season, but I sure haven't seen many since then........I wonder if the cold/wet weather that we had just about the time the Grouse should have been hatching killed a bunch of young ones off ? Casey has only found a dozen or so (while roading) in the last 3 or 4 weeks. Maybe not a good sign

YESSERIE!!! I can't wait until I can go dove hunting again. I went in 2001 and got a few, then in 2002, I slammed my finger in the safe at work, and last year I was on dialysis and had a hard time getting around as it was, let alone dove hunting. I will also try to go after some grouse this year on deer scouting trips. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I was kinda woundering the same thing Doc....we sure had a wet spring...have'nt seen many poult's this year either. I have more adult quail on my place this year....but have'nt seen any youngin's....and have noticed the grouse kinda scarce....[>:]
