Spring turkey in Oregon!
Who's readt for the spring turkey season? I can't wait! I live on the southern coast and when it stops raining I'll go out and scout for some gobblers. I just got a new slate call and I got to go out and try it...hopefully I don't scare the turkeys away with it.

Jeez I hunt pretty close to you. I spend all spring and summer in Agness.
If your gonna test out your call, go somewhere where you don't plan on hunting. If they associate your call with a person, those birds are gonna smarten up pretty fast.

I would suggest calling at home or where ever, but not in the woods before season! Them turks are very smart. And will pick you out if your not actually hunting ....... good luck this season......fishon
