RE: Tired of Winter?
This is my first winter in North Idaho... let me tell you it sure is a change from Western Washington!! Two days ago it was snowing and today it got up in the 60's! I'm looking forward to spring, but I'm not done snowmobiling yet!!!

RE: Tired of Winter?
It was in the 60's again today, but I hear that they're calling for rain/snow for tomorrow. I love the snow, but the warm weather is great for work!!! Eh, I'll be in Florida for a week after Monday anyways!!

RE: Tired of Winter?
idredneckgirl,
I grew up in Cd'A and lived for a few years in Tacoma (army). Tacoma had lots of sun Cd'A has lots of clouds and it gets dark at 4:00 in the winter time. Makes for a really long winter.
If you are into snow sports that is great!!
Though the summers are short the couple months on the lake almost made up for the rest of the years crappy weather.
All in all it is not a bad place to live as I am sure you are finding.
Plus lucky you are into hunting and fishing as it is an excellent place to live for that!!
I live in Boise now and the weather is awesome. Lots of sun and much warmer.
