you need to apply to hunt em here, but there are areas with super high draw odds, so it shouldnt be a problem. the rawlins area has lots of great bucks, plenty around the casper area too, but theres lots of private land. i live in the northeast corner of the state, and we have a bit of public land here too. im a bowhunter too. it can be done for sure, even without a pit blind. spot and stalk works well, as well as decoying during the rut. i don't know if you are looking for a public land hunt, or are looking at paying a tresspasing fee to hunt private, but check into it for sure. here is the wyoming web site, which has draw odds for different areas, as well as how to apply for the tag

Wyoming is the place. Depending on where you hunt, you just wait until after the draw and pick up one of the hundreds of leftovers. My doe tag cost me $60.00 and I just waltzed up to Laramie and bought it like a pack of gum. I live in NE Colorado, so a buck tag on the draw is only $25.00 here, but you do have to draw. We have some good-sized herds here, too, but I don't know what an out-of-state tag will run ya. Best of luck. They're wily, sharp-eyed critters.
