Yajsab, I see two 6pt bulls up behind whistling jacks friday morning and 2 spikes. Both from the inside of my truck.
Hmm... I didn' t see any bull. Well, actually, I did saw one 6 pointers. But it was around 8:30 PM driving back to my camp. Too dark and it was pass hunting time. I' ll see if I can call one in this weekend since it is/closer to the rut.

Yes. I saw the 6 pointers on FSR 1706 about 5 miles before 1600. I was hunting over 1608, where you told me. The bull is there, but I didn' t see him. I heard him bugle. There were about 10 hunters stocking in that area.

Yes. When I went scouting, I tried bugling and he answered. That was like in July. And then I went two weeks before the opener, and I saw a 4pt about 10 or 15 yards. I was up on treestand. On the first day I met some of those stocking hunters, and they told me that one handicap guy saw a 6pt over there on Saturday. Later that day I met another three hunters, and they said that they saw the 6pt there too. On the second day I heard him bugle. That was about it on 1608. I did try to bugle, but he didn' t answer on Tuesday. I don' t think I want to go back there (1608) this weekend. I probably just stay up on 1706/1709 around there. I still got muscle aches from Monday and Tuesday.

Well, just got back from my weekend trip. I am exhausted! This trip paid off with a 5x5. [:-] I shot him at 6:00 PM on the 13th. Couldn' t track him that night, so I found him in the next morning. Pic will come soon. But if you' re in Whistling Jack, there should be a pic there on the collection.

Kirk, my group was camping right on 1706. If you drove by 1600 (from Whistling Jack) you should see us.
