I am setting myself a goal
I am setting myself a goal, and will not rest until it is met.
There is something that appeals to me about hunting pronghorn with a muzzleloader, I don' t know what it is, but it just sounds like fun, the challenge mainly.
I even have criteria for the hunt: Public land, self guided, limited draw
Will apply here in NV, Elko Co., Wyoming area 107, , Idaho area 41, Oregon area 73, Montana area 700, Utah near Falming Gorge Res, and Colorado, not sure on area
Any info on these areas or others would be great, I have plenty of time to kill to look for places to hunt, can' t do anything else right now.
Draw odds that I have found are no better than about 25%, so I am applying for every state that I can
Just felt like telling everybody, no peticular reason

Hey man, nothing wrong with setting goals for yourself. You might also want to look into Montana for goat tags. Some are over the counter and some are draw as far as I know.
Good luck on your quest, I' m still working on my goal of getting an elk. Hopefully this October!!!

Charlie Brown,
I' m from Montana and if you are looking to hunt a buck in this state it is draw only.
Your best bet would be 700 district(eastern MT) that gives you a whole lot of area to hunt. There are good bucks there 14-15 in and bigger.
I did this a few years ago with a 30-30 and called it the poor man grand slam, I took mule deer, elk, antelope and a white tail buck. It was alot of fun sneaking up to within 100 ydrs of these animals.

Hey, when you are applying in all those states for antelope don' t neglect any of the other species. I apply for a total of 7 species in 8 states. Play the odds enough and you are bound to come out with a tag or two.

If I can afford it Should be able to apply for at least 3 states, hopefully more. Will definately apply for Nevada and Wyoming. I live in NV, and family lives in WY so it will make these two states easy.
