What's it like hunting the West Klickitat? Rugged, thick, good amounts of deer or no? I've been wanting to go blacktail deer hunting and this is one of the places I've narrowed it down to. Is there decent access?

West Klickitat is South central next to the Columbia river and yes there are a few Deer mostly Black Tail, but i have seen some Mulies. Some areas are thick and mountainous and some are flat and "lavaish" if you will; Great area for Mariums and I have taken a few Black Tail and a couple Elk in that area. But like anything time scouting and doing the necessasary research in an area is wise. I know When i draw Moose "eventually" lol I will spend a lot of time in the unit learning and scouting so that my success rate goes up.
