Sorry Nas, I don't have a clue on posting pics. Remembering faces is easy, remembering the names with the faces is the challenge.

RE: sportsman show
Me, I'm going on Sunday and meeting CharlieO there. It will be cool to meet one of you guys from the board finally. Otto buddy, long time no see!! Did you have a good hunting/fishing season??
KirkL, I was out in your neck of the (woods, uhh Sage) last Sunday after birds and got caught up in that nasty wind storm but the "sunshine" made up for it. I was out off the Wenas Lake hunting area but sorta near my other honey hole, but was all "locked up"! just to feed 800+ pesky, panhandling Elk I saw in the feeding station off the main drag! Shhhh! I ended back up on the Canyon road, but not enough time left to hike in for Chukar. Although I did see quite a specticle as a wildlife officer was spying on some people midway along the riverbank maybe bait fishing! ha! just south the Umtaenum rec. area, and B.S.'ed with him for a few... Snow you say?? Over here on the "wetside" it's turning into the white, wet sloppyside! In Maple Valley, it started falling out of the sky at around 1:30 P.M. Friday and going at a pretty good clip at an avereage of an inch a hour! I'd stay on the Eastside and wait til' the Spokane Sportsman show comes to town. We are expecting snow throughout the weekend and into next week. A Rare event for us Westsider's ya know, they can't drive in it worth a s*&t! We are scared as hell of it! Ha Ha! I'm sure the pass (I-90) will be shuting down off and on for avalanch control too.
The sportsmans show travels all over the west coast and offer lots of places to see it,including Portland Black Lab!
If there are any Pointing dog owners that are going to the show, stop by the Greater Seattle Bird Dog Associations' booth upstairs in the Pavillion Hall and say hi, I did booth duty last year. but not this time,,, they are offering new memberships at $25.00 and an invite to the first of trial season upcoming "fun" trial down on Fort Lewis Grounds on the 2nd of February. CharlieO is going to be there too. My clubs' booth is close to the Ralston/Purina's booth on the back wall. Look for an old fart with a baseball cap on saying "Pro dog trainer". With his mangy mutts! He sits right next door to our booth. With the pretty dogs!
Otto, where is the W.W.C.'s booth at????

The Portland Sportshow at the
Expo-Center starts Wednesday, Febuary 6th and runs through Sunday, Febuary 10th. Archers Afield has graciously given the Oregon Chapter of Ted Nugent United Sportsmen of America some of their booth space. Stop by and talk to TNUSA State Direcor, Mike Potts to help spread the Spirit of the Wild in OR and WA. I will be helping out at the show a couple of nights as well.
Anyone going the Big Horn Show in Spokane in March? All proceeds help the Inland NW Wildlife Council (INWC) in their great Washington State efforts.

Darn - going to miss the Portland Show again!
Oh well, can only afford so many fun trips south, and the next trip down that general direction will be to chase turkeys come mid-April. I'm already looking forward to the blood, the feathers, the weight of that tom in my pack, the big bruise on my shoulder and the great big grin on my face!
