Advice for Wyoming Mule Deer and Antelope
Anyone got any good suggestions for the 08 season for Mule Deer and Antelope. I hunted the 06 season was drawn for area 29 for antelope and 4 of us took really nice goats in Thunder Basin Grasslands. Our deer permits were for area H on the other side of the state. We were a liitle disappointed in the deer in this area, between the 4 or us in 6 days of hunting only 4 deer was seen and only one small buck. Is the deer hunting better on the eastern side of the state. Which areas have the most public land? Thanks for any help.

RE: Advice for Wyoming Mule Deer and Antelope
I like region A North East corner but it is mostly Whitetail hunting. There are Mule deer there but the vast majority of it is whitetail. There are some good mule deer on the Thunder basin National Grasslands as well. My biggest deer I ever shot came from there.
