Southern Oregon Coast Spring Bear Hunting
Can anyone give any advice for spring bear hunting there? This will be our first spring bear hunt and we chose the southern OR coast for the number of bears. We hunted bear all summer last year in an area in central OR that was just littered with fresh bear sign with no luck. We took a bear while deer hunting later in this area. Iv'e heard spring bear hunting is alot esier and you have better chances. Any advice?

Gandilamont,
No advice, but let me know how you do. Buddy of mine has family in the gold beach area in oregon, and we are thinking about trying to draw some tags, bear or dear.
Good luck.

gandilamont,
that is funny. Please let me know how things go and any other hunting info that you may know about the area, I have not actually ever been there. My buddy video taped some of the terrain when he was up visiting his grandfolks, and the terrain looks prime. Keep me posted! Email if you want.
