Need some information about NM
I'm new to the bbs, and am looking for some info on elk season in New Mexico. I live in Texas, but have hunted in CO and NM with both rifles and muzzleloaders for years. I've had some friends tell me that New Mexico is where I need to go to get an elk. I'm hoping to get there real soon. Does anyone know the official dates for Elk Season? Please shoot me an e-mail asap. Thanks for your help

Dear hfbroom; New Mexico requires residents and nonresidents to enter a drawing for license on elk or must obtain a Form B from private land owner. Download the info from www.gmfsh.state.nm.us
