Just had a bit of a reunion with old family friends up here in Ontario. They now live in a monster home on a golf course near Phoenix and invited me down for a visit and some golf, but I'd much rather go for a hunt than golf.
Any opportunities for non-residents down there?
How about hogs, do you have Javalina or other pigs (we don't up here)?

Please let me know, I have a bunch of AirMiles but wouldn't want to show up with my clubs instead of bow only to find out theres public land and tags available.

I know that you (resident and/or resident) can purchase over-the-counter deer tags that are good for the last couple of weeks of December (select units). A new (2006) over-the-counter deer tag is good in January (in select units) for any deer. My buddies & I (from Northern AZ) usually try to draw out for an archery javelina tag around Wickenburg (Northwest of PHX) and usually have a pretty fun hunt (chasing both pig & deer). Other than that, you can head out & have success in varmint calling or hunting quail.
