Nemont, I've heard that Montana and other states are getting more rain than they normally do. That should help bring the reservoirs back up and help with antler growth for the fall. Too bad I didn't draw this fall but I look forward to next year. Great pix!! I miss that country the minute I leave...

Fort Peck has come up about 4.2 feet since April 1, 2005. It is still 6.2 feet lower than it's previous all time low set in 1991. So it still has 44 feet to rise to reach full pool.
The ground around here is saturated and we are getting more rain right now and had about 75/100 last night. There are places in North Central MT. that have gotten 3 to 4 inches since Monday. North of Circle it rained 3.5 inches in two hours on Saturday. Lots of hail also some of it 3 inches in diameter.
So the country side is green and the sweet clover is growing which usually means big antlers this fall.
We can still get the 100 degree heat for weeks on end in July and August.

I was up in lethbrige alta., to the north of you for a couple weeks and we got hammered. The towne just couldn't keep up with all the rains. They even made the coolies off limits, what pissed me offwas I couldn't go mt. biking.[:-]

Good to hear that Fort Peck is coming up a little as it's been terribly low. Sounds like it's going to help the wildlife and I'm sure the ranchers/farmers as happy as well. We've been getting pounded with rain and now finally it's warm. I was beginning to wonder if the farmers were going to have anything to harvest this fall but it's starting to look up.
