a roomie medium weight camo water resistant coat. when it gets cold (below 20 degrees) i just wear 4 or 5 other layers underneath it to stay warm. it saves me the money from buying a $200 parka.

you also need a blind bag, or a 5 gallon bucket with lid to store all your misc stuff. the bucket can be used as a stool, but the bag is easier to carry.

Camera for your first Green Head

Determination is free Waterfowl hunting can be alot of Physical work. I can recall many times saying to myself all this for a F-n duck. But like anything you do it for the days that payoff which are well worth it..

Don't use the call until you know how to blow it!!!

toilet paper is an essential! lol. but besides that i like mossy oak camoflauge. since your gonna be hunting flooded timber i would wear break up or shadow branch if you can find it. i like hodgman waders too. i bought mine at walmart after duck season and got em dirt cheap. but your gonna need some calls i would recommend rich-n-tones, but if your not wantin to dish out the money for one get a primos yo sista, or a quackhead timber. since your hunting flooded timber a quieter call will be better. if your lookin for decoys id buy the greenhead gear hot buy mallards. there cheap and look awsome! thats just about all i can think of. hope it helps.
