What call do you have? A good quality call makes a big difference in the tones and sounds you can produce. The vid, Honker Talk by Shawn Stahl is one of the best instructional aids around, well worth the $20.00

may be a good idea to mention if it is a short reed or a flute .... in order to get the diff pitches on a flute ya have to use back pressure with ya hand to make the call "break" ....cuppin ya hand over the end of the flute will do this .... with the shortreed ..... ya use ya air pressure and hands to do this
