Default Stoeger M2000

Guys,
I'm in the market for a new waterfowl shotgun. I have shouldered alot of shotguns in the past week. I can deal with a pump or an auto.

This is what i have narrowed it down to:

Stoeger M2000- Feels the best to me.
Stoeger P350
Remington 870 Super Mag
am awaiting the arrival of the Remington 887! Just gotta see for myself!

I like the Rem. 870 Super mag alot feels just like my wingmaster that i have been shootiing forever.

But the M2000 feels really sweet too!

What are your thoughts on these guns?

The Stoeger M2000 is a nice shotgun that had problems for the first and second generation. They have since ironed out those problems, and it is now a gun that should last you a lifetime of duck hunting.
The Stoeger P350 in my opinion is one of the better values out there right now for a pump gun.
The Remington 870 Super Mag....more than likely it will give you a lifetime of trouble free shooting. Personally though, I have never been a fan of an 870 stretched to a 3.5" chamber.

My opinion is get the one that fits you best, and don't look back.

I love my model 2000. Never had any problems in the 5 years I've had it. Performs flawlessly.

I like autos over pumps. less recoil, faster second shot. yes i know some people say they are just as fast with a pump, but you have less recoil with the auto and can get your next shot placed faster. IMO

From what i understand benelli was meeting with stoeger to tell them them they were going to sew (sp) them thenthen they realized they were making a really good gun using there patten. so benelli decided to buy stoeger out instead of sew(sp) them. I would not hesitate to buy a stoeger 2000
