A mixed bag
No one wanted to huntwith me this AM
So I headed out to a spot I have never hunted
A creek runs thru a 400 acer CPR feild
In the middle along side the creek are 3 ponds
Picked up the woodies quick as they blasted down the creek line
Then I tolaly wiffed on a pair of drake mallards
Then a single drake came in , a tough shot thru the trees
But I got him
Passed on several long shots and a couple of hen mallards
On the walk out
My lab got birdy and up jumped this nice wild cock pheasant
I guess I will have to try that spot again
