Pheasant Hunts

RE: Pheasant Hunts
I live in central California and grew up with what I thought was good pheasant hunting, then I went to SD and relized that it sucks to hunt pheasant in California. SD is GREAT, when we drove into town there was a sign that said WELCOME HUNTERS. I almost crapped, we will never see anything like that here. God bless SD

You all must be confused, there are no pheasants in SD!
YellowQuailDog - That sign is in almost every town in SD come October. Where were you hunting at?
I run a pheasant hunting lodge and I foresee this coming fall to the best I've ever seen, and I've seen it pretty damned good!

I own and operate American Wingshooting Lodge near Platte, SD. South Dakota is home to about 12 million wild pheasants where we harvested over 2 million birds statewide in the year 2007. If you book a hunt with us, we will show you a great time. Log onto http:/www.americanwingshootinglodge.com for more info.

I know MN and IA have wild birds...
But heck, why not go a little further and hunt KS or SD - arguably the States with the largest wild bird populations... Just my thoughts!
