Default grouse in northeast WI after deer season?

Is the grouse hunting anygood this time of year in the north east part of WI? The season stays open until the end of Jan, and I was thinking of giving it a try. Also what about the places that they let pheasant go, are these worth huning now? I live north of GB.

Default RE: grouse in northeast WI after deer season?

Not sure about the grouse hunting lot depends on how soon and how much snow we get. Grouse don't mind snow but it makes the hunting tough if we get too much. The population is on the rise and should be even better the next few years. As for the pheasants that they plant I'm not sure how many they plant after deer season. Your can contact the WDNR to get info. Good Luck.
