Some of you may have read my post on here a few days ago when I told you about the car accident me and my family were in last Thursday. I thought my season was over before the opener even arrived. Well, things have calmed down a bit since then. My daughter was released from the childrens hospital, my wife was released from the hospital, and my back, despite the chipped bone has been loosening up. Even though the doctor said noway, I just had to hunt. Things were ok around the house and the wife gave me permission to go out. So Lefty26 and I went out this morning, and I was lucky enough to score on a 18 pound jake. It was one of those deals where we called his hens in, and he followed. He never gobbled. Lefty took pics, they should be up soon.
