Hevi Shot
I have been toying with hevi shot for 2 years,I always shot out of a mod choke and it done the job out to 30 yds with a 20ga. I bought a hevishot tube from remington last week and it realy made a difference. I patterned my 12 at 40 22 shot in the head and neck,with the new tube out of my 20 with 4 shot 18 in the head and neck at 40,but what was impressive was I was shooting into a 4ftx4ft piece of 1/2in 3 ply CDX plywood and you could see the copper shot stuck in the board from the 12ga load the 20ga load with #4 hevi shot perfferated the board. Alot of energy for a 20ga load.

Without a doubt for those of us shooting a 20GA Hev-Shot® is the way to go. I use a Mossberg® Mdl 500C with a Hastings® Super Full Extended Choke Tube (.570) and it out shot my partner's 12GA 3" Mag AT ALL RANGES!

2 years ago I was testing the Hevi-Shot against copper plated shot, I was shooting a target stapled on to a 1x12-3/4" white pine board, At 40 yards the lead shot went about 1/2 way thru it, the Hevi-Shot splintered the back side of the board, that made a believer out of me.
