Egg push button call???

Egg push button call???
I am new to turkey hunting and I was wondering what would be the easiest call for a new hunter to get used to using? I have some diaphrams but I am still having some troubles using them and I was wondering if the mouth call or the egg push botton calls work well? what call do you recommend?
Thanks,

RE: Egg push button call???
the push bottons are the easiest to use. get a couple and try them. then go from there.my favorite is a little cedar box.it is about 25 years old and still working great.I also have a slate I like.
just keep adding to you vest untill you get one that works for you.

RE: Egg push button call???
I am new to.
I went a couple times last year.
And made some mistakes some big some small.
Since then I have got several diaphragm calls and a Knight & Hale sla-tek
And a home made box call and a lynch box call.
I looked at the egg and I like it .
So I have one in layaway and a turkey hunting vest.
From what I have heard and read you need more than one type of call.
The turkeys will respond to a different call from day to day.
One day a box call might work then the next day it might take a slate call.
I started with a Primos diamond yelper diaprhagm call.
That was the first call I learned to use.
I gues I have a lot to learn.
At least I am a little wiser than last year.
What ever you do DON"T go Putt Putt I did last year and
That hunt ended real fast.
Putt Putt means danger to turkeys.
Any way Good Luck

RE: Egg push button call???
get a box call, a slate call, and a push button call if you can and try them. learn to use the diaphragms if you can because they require no movement when you get a bird in close. i have heard that the egg call is a waste of money, but i have never used one myself. i would go with a wood push-pull call, or the knight and hale lonesome hen push button call is a good one.
