Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default RE: federal heavyweights

i too am going to try the federal heavyweights and hevi-shot this year. SHould have them Monday and am looking forward to seeing how they both pattern. Last year I used Winchester hi-vol lead and Remington copperplated with good results, both 3-1/2" x #5.

I shoot a Mossberg 835 with x-full choke, but swtiched to hevi-shot choke (Primos Jellyhead) for hevi-shot. I have not heard much good about the Jellyhead choke now that I have bought it, so I am a bit concerned. If it sucks, I will try the Mad Super Max hevi-shot choke. My friends love theirs but I didnt want to drop 70.00 on it just yet.

I will post results when I get them.
