Would it be a double "slam" if...
While turkey hunting this spring you were allowed to get (2) turkeys in each state that you hunted. Getting all (4) sub species?
To make it harder; to use a shot gun for one then use a bow for the second.
It's just a question that my father and I are going back and forth over. I think it's a double slam myself.
Really looking into this options this year. So far everyone that I've talked to about turkey hunting with a bow just laughs at me. I tell them that some have done it, and they still laugh.

i've got 2 with the bow, one from a tree stand (target of opportunity while deer hunting) and one in the spring on the groung (no blind). if they come in alone, spinning an strutting its not too tough, but if they come in lookin hard or with other birds, the stakes go up. i've lost a TON of arrows over the years!
i'm gonna try it with the recurve this spring, invest in cedararrow stocks!

Outstanding. I'd buy you a cigar for that.
Thanks for the information. All the states I have on the plan for spring season allows me to get 2. Hope that work doesn't hold me back.[:@]
I'll post pic's as I go.
