Any Rem 11-87 owners tried a Tru-Glo choke?
I've got an 11-87 and was wondering if anyone has tried Tru-Glo's Strutt Stopper ported choke. I'm going to test some various shells with my Super Full chike tonight but might end up getting the Tru-Glo. All advice is appreciated.

The Truglo chokes are really great. Lots of people on this board have stuffed them in Remington's and been very satisfied. I have the .665 in my 870 Super Mag. It shoots Federal and Winchester high-velocity ammo exceptionally well.

The Truglo tubes are very good. Kick's Gobblin Thunder and Comp-n-Choke are also good. The .665 diameter seems to be the best size for most folks. I compared a .660 Comp-n-choke and a Truglo choke in my BPS with standard Invector barrel. The Truglo came out on top with every load tried, but the C-n-C tube may have been too tight.

I used my brothers shotgun last year with the comp-n-choke and it did the job at 30 yards, but I bought the truglo this year for my shotgun and I am very pleased so far and all i did was pattern it. Im gonna try with my bow but if I dont succeed my shotgun is ready!

Another Tru-Glo user here as well. I have a 26" barrel on my 11-87 and with this choke tube, it shoots a most impressive pattern all the way to the 40 yard marker. At $49.95 in Midwest, ti's a real sleeper of a choke tube for the money!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

If anyone is near a Gander Mountain. The Store here in St. Cloud has them on Clearance for $34.95. I've notice that stores are stocking the Tru Glow in a nonported version and clearing ut the Ported Mark Banser models. Anyone hear if they have severed ties or am I reading too much into what I have been seeing around here.
