Default Shiny Spurs

I was wondering how you guys make your spurs clean and shiny to display like on a necklace or wherever. I have mine on a piece of string but there all still pretty dirty and i can't get em to shine....any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use Minwax Fast Drying spray Polyurethane,
I'll put 2-3 coats on it after drying in Borax and it comes out looking very natural almost like it's still attached to the bird

Clear fingernail polish works great and also seals the spurs cap to the bone so you don't have to worry about it falling off years down the road as everything drys out and shrinks up a tad

I just cure mine in borax and wash them with some soapy warm water and put them on rawhide

I just toss mine in a drawer most times ,,
But I have taken and rubbed the spur with Raw Linseed oil, this tends to clean them up and adds a shine...BT
