Freaking me Out!!!
Ok i was just wondering if the season is ending early here in PA , like the gobblers have gotten to their women already , or if it is jsut starting , action has been slow and im seeing gobblers in little groups , also they shutup as soon as they hit the ground , if not a few mins b4, so i was wondering what the deal is , do i still have a good shot at a bird witht he remaining 3 weeks , or is it jsut to late for a HOTT gobbbler to come in with ease , im willing to work my @$$ off for a bird , it makes my blood boil to hear a gobbler screaming in the morning , and even gets me more riled up when hes gobbling at my calls in sight.. so if you can help me out on some tips on how to try to hunt these PA rascals , i would like some advice

RE: Freaking me Out!!!
DL,What you described is typical for Pa. All you can do is hang in there,be patient and hope you end up at the right place at the right time. One day an area will be dead silent and 24 hrs later them birds might be gobblin their heads off.Hang in there.
