16 gauge
I have a 16 gauge double barrel Stevens that I would like to use for turkeys this year. I've shot 2 turkeys with a 12 and one with a 20 without any problems. Should I use #4's or #6's for the 16?

RE: 16 gauge
get a couple of boxes of #4 and #6 pattern both barrels wiyh each and pick the one that gets the most in the kill zone.
I shot a 16 that my grandad gave me for years befor I started turkey hunting.it will kill a duck out to 30 yrds.don't know bout a turkey.
just make sure you know it's pattern and it's range.
good luck.
I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest
remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
