I haven't used it in a Mossberg 500 but rather a winchester 1300. Same choke works between the two. My really likes #6 shot. Doesn't shoot #5 or #4 well at all. But the pattern with #6 shot is impressive.

I've got one on my BPS. It is an older gun with the Invector system. That would make it the same tube as yours and Borch's. I get very impressive patterns with Win. #6 H.V. Typically I get over 30 hits in the head and neck at 40 yd. I also get good patterns with Win. #4's, on the order of 20-30 hits in the head/neck. My gun won't pattern #5's well, consistantly. I'm very satisfied with the tube.

20-30 hits with #4's at 40 yards??? That's pretty awsome

What's that sign say as your walking into Bass Pro Shop

Well I have one in my Mossberg 835, and it performs pretty good. I use the Federal Flite Control, 3" #5s
