Maybe you could buy 2 or 3 and play around with them to see which one holds the best patterns.

I would start with the choke you have and pattern different loads...you may just find out the choke you have works super with a particular load...save the money!!

What i did when i had to buy a choke tube was go on the companie's website and sometimes they may post the parterns or thier tubes. Unfortunatly mostly only use one or two types of shells.

Well, in my personal experience, it depends a lot on the gun/choke/shell combination. Sometimes a cheaper choke will work just fine in one gun with a particular load, but if you change the gun or the load it may not be worth squat. Best advice I can give is to buy a choke from a retailer that will allow you to return it if you are not satisfied (keep the receipt). Then try a variety of shells from different companies with different shot sizes. If you can't find one you are pleased with then take the choke back and try a different one. I am going thru this same problem right now with one particular gun of mine. Good Luck.

Always try different chokes and different loads. A friend of mine gets incredible patterns from his Star-dot choke that he only payed $10 on sale from Walmart. Some choke manufactures might even exchange a choke for a different constriction if it doesn`t pattern well.
