RE: GUN CAMMO
I think that camo is needed to a certain degree. I have several shotguns that I would not want to take out into the woods due to thier being too shiny and reflect the sunlight too much. You can get away with not camo'ing your gun as long as you don't move it around. The wild turkey may not see or pay attention to it as long as you don't move it. Once you move around with it, you may get busted. This is why I have camo'ed my turkey guns out with regular old spray paint or have bought them that way. It gives me a little piece of mind knowing that I could move a little bit without being seen by a big tom, even though anything is possible.

If you don't care what your gun looks like, sprat paint is the way to go. Get a few flat colors. Flat auto primer is very cheap.
The different camo thing is sales hype.
Woodland/Army camo is a good as any.

Spray paint here too!But I'm pretty lucky because I have a very good freind of mine that paints cars and he blow brushes it on for me.Put some pretty cool designs on it for me.Looks awesome!Movement scares em more than anything and good camo gives you a liitle freedom to get away with it,so I definately reccomend camoflauge. To not have camo just gives the bird an easier opportunity to make you out.Loose one big gobbler to a shiny barrel or no camo and you'll change your mind.I've had it happen and it "sucks"!
