fellow archers ???
I no that there are not that many of us around, but I am looking for other archery-turkey hunters to network with. I have evolved into what I think is the best equipment set up possiable thanks to a double bull blind.
The big draw back is the fact it takes two men & a small boy to haul the nessesary stuff for 12 hour shifts in the blind. Chair, food, water ect...
I video as well, but that comes secondary to finding good location.
Moving is out ! Not to mention we all know what happens when we move.
Should I go into the Archery BBS?

RE: fellow archers ???
I hunt turkeys with my bow as well. This year I am going with my new gun however. Depending on how I do will determine if I take my gun or bow next year. I may even try to take one turkey with each this year.

I used my bow this fall and I liked it pretty well. I am going to try it this spring and give it my best shot. What is your favorite broadhead to use on turkeys? I have been using expanders and I am only recovering about 1:2 birds. Where should I place my shots? BB

I USE MY PSE THUNDERBOLT FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF SEASON. BUT IF I`M UNABLE TO GET A SHOT I WILL TAKE THE OLD MOSS. 835 AND FINISH THE SEASON OUT. ITS ONLY 13 DAYS LONG IN INDIANA. AND I ONLY TAKE MY BOW WHEN HUNTING ON PRIVATE GROUND. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND BE SAFE OUT THERE.
